I was born and raised in Edmonton and moved to Calgary with my family just before my 18th birthday. After more schooling and graduation, I built a successful 20+ year career, working in industries such oil and gas and the new home construction segment. However, I recently stepped back to pursue a career with more flexibility—one that allows me to prioritize my family, and support my special needs child. Today, with that career shift into Real Estate, I specialize in helping families relocate to southern Alberta from across Canada.

More recently, when my partner Melodie and I decided to blend our families, we had the option to stay in Calgary. But we wanted something better, something perhaps more family-oriented, connected, and community-driven. And a generally better way of life. That’s why we chose Airdrie. We could have chosen anywhere really… but Airdrie was the best for our family.

Since moving here, my family and I have embraced everything Airdrie has to offer. I volunteered with my daughter at APARC, volunteer when I can at my kids' schools, volunteer monthly at the Airdrie Food Bank with one of my sons, and am an active member of the Volunteer Airdrie Society. I also co-founded the Airdrie Back-to-School Thrift and Swap program, where we work with local schools, helping families access free quality clothing, just in time for the school year.

Airdrie is growing, and with that growth comes both opportunities and challenges. I believe that by working together, we can build a community that supports families, empowers small businesses, and provides a platform for artists, athletes, students, and that advocates for people of all backgrounds.

I’m running to be your voice in council because I believe in Airdrie’s future, and I believe in the power of community-driven leadership. Let’s work together to make Airdrie the best place to live, work, and raise a family.
